The Pavaka Ensemble is a group of musicians from around the world that come together in various combinations to arrange, perform and record music composed by Sri Chinmoy (1931-2007). Musicians and singers involved in the live group practice meditation based on the teachings of Sri Chinmoy who was a meditation teacher as well as a composer, poet, athlete and visual artist.

The first CD of these arrangements was released in 2006 and is simply entitled Pavaka performs the Melodies of Sri Chinmoy Vol 1. This collection was well received worldwide in the meditation community and lead to participation in the Song of the Soul concert series which has offered concerts all over the world since 2008.

In August 2009, the album The Melodies of Sri Chinmoy Volume 2 was released which featured many musicians including Joe Fiola (Ham, Justin Lacroix Band), Daniel Roy, Premik Russell Tubbs (John McLaughlin, Whitney Houston), Sacha Daoud (Chic Gamine, Cirque du Soleil), don benedictson (Connie Kaldor, Annette Campagne), Shawn Sasyniuk (Roch Voisine, Wilfred Le Bouthillier) and Alap.

The album was mixed by Juno-award-winning producer and engineer Benoit Morier (Chic Gamine, Genevieve Toupin, Lisa Leblanc).

Volume 3 was released in August 2021 and is more mellow than Volume 2.  It features among others: Alap on Duduk, Yasen on kaval and Joe Fiola on snare drum.  The album was mixed by Nelson Myers-Daly of Monk Party and was mastered Benoit Morier.

The touring group consists of any combination of the following members: Abhijit, Christian Oswald, David Hall, Kautuhalam, Mahamukha, Mahavrata, Medur, Parichayaka, Pavaka, Premik Russell Tubbs, Rustam, Sergey, Sukhdev, Utsahi, Yuri.
